As a management consultant, she has conducted robust UX research including improving internal digital tools based on employee interviews and analyzing consumer market through consumer interviews and surveys. Additionally, she has been involved in global organization design, business strategy development, M&A support, and due diligence, backed by quantitative analysis and expert interviews.
Born and raised amidst the natural beauty of Kochi Prefecture in Japan, she advised companies on sustainability initiatives during her consulting career. Feeling the limitations of approaches that require people to sacrifice convenience for sustainable choices, she decided to focus on creating systems that enable people to live sustainably without undue burden.
Influenced by Japanese animism—which holds that all things, both living and non-living, possess a spirit—Kaori observes diverse communities of plants, animals, and microorganisms, seeking to reposition humans within these networks.
